Preparation of teachers for the revision of the RVP in the field of informatics

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to map changes in RVP in the field of informatics, to define individual problems that schools may encounter, and also to map the reactions of individual schools and teachers to these problems. To achieve these objectives, a qualitative research method was used, and the individual research results are supported by citations from respondents. The thesis clarifies the problems associated with the implementation of the new RVP and can also serve as a basis for teachers to find out how other schools work with the given problems. The thesis can also serve as a basis for further studies associated with the revision of RVP, or as a basis for further revisions of RVP.
Comparison of compulsory swimming courses with varying periods of lesson repetition in terms of their resulting impact on the swimming level of young school- age students in catchment area schools in Jablonec nad Nisou

The aim of my master thesis is to compare the entry and exit swimming level of younger school-age children in the context of compulsory swimming lessons at the first level of primary school. The essential criterion for comparing the children's tested skills will be whether they receive swimming lessons in the form of intensive courses or in a schedule of one visit to a swimming facility per week. Swimming skills will be monitored for children in second and third grades, both boys and girls. The final distance swum by the children will then be categorised according to both the official diagnostic tables proposed by Čechovská and unofficial tables with more detailed intervals used internally by the swimming school where the research was conducted. In the theoretical part, the origins of swimming and its historical development in the world and in the Czech Republic are first mentioned, with an overlap to the current form of swimming, especially in the context of swimming education. Compulsory swimming education for children of younger school age, its financing, and its organisation are other topics of the theoretical part. An analysis of student solutions of mathematical tasks as a preparation for posing tasks in the Concept Cartoon format.

This thesis deals with the Concept Cartoons method and quantitative analysis of data, which were taken from third year students written work, that focused on different approaches of solving mathematical tasks. The analysis focuses on right and wrong, common and less common solutions. Part of this work is the creation of Concept Cartoons questions. In the theoretical part, this method is described and mentioned as who is its creator. It also describes word problems and counting operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Teaching about Invertebrates at the Second Grade of Elementary School: a Case Study

The main aim of the study was to find out how specific teachers teach invertebrate zoology at the 2nd grade of selected primary schools. The first part of the thesis is devoted to anchoring the invertebrate curriculum in the Framework Curriculum for Primary Education and selected methods and forms of teaching with motivational character (mainly outdoor education, experiential pedagogy, research-oriented teaching, excursions, and didactic games). A substantial part of the work is also devoted to cross-cutting themes, specifically environmental education about teaching invertebrates. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of teaching strategies and attitudes in teaching invertebrate zoology to specific teachers. Using a questionnaire survey and by comparing the results obtained, problematic points of teaching invertebrates were identified: the laa number of representatives, the (need for) reduction of the curriculum related to invertebrate anatomy, the interconnection of schools with environmental centers' use of live representatives in teaching. Attitude to the physical activity in school aged children 12-14 years

Title of the thesis: Attitude to the physical activity in school aged children 12-14 years The aim of the thesis: Find out the awareness of the concept of Movement literacy among the pupils of seventh and eighth grades, the general attitude towards physical activity and the relationship to physical education and lifestyle. Methods: 226 primary school pupils in Prague (111 boys and 115 girls) aged 12-14 years were surveyed with a self-constructed questionnaire focusing on attitudes towards physical activity and selected aspects of lifestyle. Results: PE is more popular among boys (78 %) than girls (57 %). For boys, the dominant reason given for physical activity was health and fitness (47 %), while for girls it was weight reduction and body improvement (43 %). 71 % of boys and 64 % of girls are active in some sport. 33 % have experience of dealing with musculoskeletal difficulties and rehabilitation. In the question, "What is movement literacy?" 14 girls and 20 boys came close to the correct answer. There was a positive attitude towards PE and physical activity, but there were differences in motivation between boys and girls. This thesis deals with teaching the digital technology within the ISCED 2 education. The theoretical part monitors the current state of teaching these technologies in the Czech Republic and two European Union states, Ireland and the United Kingdom. The practical part includes a conception of digital technology teaching, including a methodical manual for teachers and a working environment for students, verification of this conception in practice and drawing conclusions.

The case study analyses the art education content of selected teachers through the school year in context of actual curriculum. The lesson plans are going to be compared with the actual realizations of students, with respect to the expected (art) competencies of themselves. How do the teachers deal with the curriculum and content in art education? The thesis explores that question per interviews with the teachers, document analyses and gathered reflections. It examines the way of dealing with pedagogical content, its transformation into concrete tasks, teacher's reflection and appreciation of the student works. Inspirational resources of the particular teachers are going to be also covered in this study. The contemporary researches of Art education with emphasis on the pedagogical content are going to be the theoretical basis of processing the case study.
